Sleeping bag is lovely. Hasn't been used yet; it is a Christmas gift. HOWEVER, upon reading laundering instructions I see that it needs a front load washer, which I fear the recipient does not have. Hope she can bring to a friend when it needs cleaning. Wondering if the gentle cycle on he top load machine will do.
I purchased three in different colors. I washed them individually in my top-loading machine using the gentle cycle, extra-large load capacity, and air-dried them. My old top-loader is a bit oversized. A single dry bag took up less than 1/3 the capacity of the washer. They did just fine. You probably would want to heed the instructions and use a front-loader if you have a smaller top-loader.
These lightweight sleeping bags are very soft and cozy!
Our beautiful little ski chalet in Vermont has a boys and a girls bunk room, both with built in bunks which the kids just cannot make up easily with good old sheets and blankets. Well these are the answer, and the kids just love them! We have had and used these for years, but the older ones were quite a bit thicker and had two wonderful pattern designs to choose from.
They are great for their practical use, but also for adding to the character and atmosphere of the kid's bunk rooms! We recommend them highly for indoor or warm weather usage.
I now have two of these light weight sleeping bags. I have zipped them together and use them as a sleeping bag/light blanket when I use my travel trailer. I fits my needs and saves time and space when I don't want to use sheets.
