I bought this as an insert for camping this summer and let me tell you that it is beyond comfy. I did wash it first. It washes well. It dries well. No pilling. I had my engraved with my name. Lol. This insert opens all the way up and can be used as a light weight fleece blanket. It is so soft. Oh, and it rolls up neatly and has elastic bands to keep it rolled and even a handle for easy transport. I was so impressed with this product that I bought two more as gifts ( engraved, of course )!
These cabin bags are a great alternative to making bunk beds in my vacation rental. ..bunks are a bear! The only issue is people seem to walk away with them because they like them so much.
My wife and I purchased two of these for liners to our sleeping bags. The first time we used them we were incredibly happy with their comfort and warmth. When we got home after 5 days and 4 nights on the road we discovered they had started to pill, a lot. We should have immediately contacted L.L. Bean because we know they would have replaced them of given us credit, but we tried to remove the pills and wash them hoping it wouldn't continue. It did. I've never seen anything like it. Our lesson was to not wait a more than a year.
