About 10 years ago, I had bought one of these cabin fleece bags for my son to use on his bed. He loves soft things and it was more comfy than sheets. Now he's 20 and the zipper on his bag wore out, not fixable :( Meanwhile, I had bought one for myself, and a friend liked ours so he bought one also. I was glad to see LL Bean still carries them.
I like these for everyday use, and are great when traveling if you're like me and want to feel comfy as if you are home. Just lay them on the bed, zip yourself in, and you're good.
A suggestion when washing them: zip it up and turn inside out. That way the elastic loops at the bottom won't snag on anything in the washer or dryer.
I wish thesae were made with metal zippers. The plastic zippers aren't durable like LL Bean products are.
This is a perfect summer sleeping bag. The fabric is very soft, and the zipper is made to last. It would even be nice in the winter with an extra blanket on top. I like the way it rolls up and has the elastic straps at the ends. The carrying strap is handy, too. Altogether a very nice bag.
