This product is ideal for summer use at our cabin in the mountains. We have two already and have been pleased with them. Kids love the soft feel, and they easily wash. Just enough to keep you warm on a summer evening in the mountains, or use as a sleeping bag liner in the colder months.
Over the years, I have purchased ten of these bags. They are wonderful! I originally ordered them so that my husband and I could take them along on overnight trips, and since then, I've given them to our grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The colors are numerous enough that no siblings have to share a color, and we all know how important that can be! I also request the sacks to be monogrammed so that each child owns his or her own bag. They enjoy having their own for sleepovers in warm weather, plus the bags add warmth inside heavier sleeping bags in cold weather. The length of the bags is great, even for my husband and the tallest of the kids. They launder very well and roll up for easy storage. I award five stars to these bags!
I purchased two of these sleeping bags last year and have used them through all four seasons. They are perfect for spring/summer/fall camping, both within the tent as well as curling up in front of the fire. They are also a fixture in my car during the winter months. I have lost count the number of times they have been washed - I have two dogs that like curling up on them too - and I have never had an issue with the fleece piling. They have fully retained their shape and softness. I will be ordering a few of these for Christmas gifts - then I won't have to share mine around the campfire as much!!
I used this on an overnight hike to an AMC hut in the White Mountains. It was the perfect weight. I didn't even need the wool blankets that were provided and it was light to carry in my backpack. Love it!
