I love this fleece sleeping bag! It is versatile and easy to clean. When we go camping on cold nights, I use it inside my sleeping bag as a extra layer. If it is too hot out, this is the only sleeping bag you need.
I'm a professional firefighter that has to travel to different stations on occasion. For years I have traveled with a large bundle of bed linens and found this to be a pain. Buying this bag keeps everything compact and is very warm, wished it could be a little longer but oh well.
If you're looking for an expensive fleece blanket that is stitched on 3 sides so it qualifies as a "sleeping bag," then this is for you. I would've returned it however, I had it monogrammed for my daughter's BFF's birthday. So, stuck with it and will have to buy addt'l gifts to compensate as this is very disappointing. Other reviews raved about it, but when i look for a sleeping bag, it should have some thickness to it as the kids will be on a harder surface, etc. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.
I ordered this mainly to use at home on the couch and when traveling. I've used it a couple of times in my house and it's just right for indoor use. It's warm enough to use indoors alone or maybe with another blanket when it's extra chilly.
