ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, warm and soft, cute print
I bought the print version of this sleeping bag when it was on sale a few months ago and consider it one of the best buys ever! I truly LOVE this bag. It is so soft, comfortable, warm, feels good against my skin, and the outdoors print is charming. I keep it in my car for emergencies and have used it several times while traveling. I haven't tried washing it yet, but plan to follow the directions and take it to a laundromat to use the front-loading machine recommendation because this bag is too wonderful to ruin in the wash.
This bag is simply fabulous for the price. The cornflower blue is very nice and I ordered it with my Mom's permission on her LL Bean Visa so I got the free monogramming too, which also gives it a nice touch of class (up to 10 letters, silver). I think the best feature about this bag is that it is 33" wide - most are about 30" wide and those 3 extra inches make a world of difference.
It's a good warm weather sleeping bag for camping which is my primary use for it, but with all the iffy cleanliness issues in hotels these days I think I'll be taking it along to use when traveling too.
My only perceived downside to this product is that the zipper doesn't really "lock" when the pull tab is placed flush to the zipper - it tends to unzip pretty easily when turning over. A couple of safety pins prevents this, but a slightly better zipper that "locks" would also. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4/5 stars, otherwise it's a 5/5.
We recently purchased a camper van. We were searching for the perfect bedding, It had to be warm and cozy but also easy to use and very compact to store. These bags turned out to be perfect. Plus they have big zippers that slide easily and never jam. To use, just unroll, climb in and zip up. In the AM just roll up and store away. Also you can open them up and zip into a king sized sleeping bag. We had ours monogrammed at a very reasonable price. We are happy campers!
After reading the reviews I knew this bag would be perfect for summer at Kooch. The boys will be warm without the risk of cold feet. I bought two and had them monogrammed with last names so they won't get lost. the mono is done top left at an angle. I was not surprised the boys loved them. They are both sleeping in them already (in our house!) on top of their comforters. Thanks for a great value!!!
