This "sleeping bag" unzips fully so it can be used flat as a blanket, and that's how I've been using it. I'm average height for a woman but find that when I get into the bag zipped, I can feel the zipper and the wide, bulky, scratchy binding it's affixed to against my feet and it's uncomfortable. I'd flip it inside-out, since the exterior seam is much flatter and more smooth, except for the fact that LL Bean has sewn large elastic straps to the bottom of the exterior, presumably so the bag can be rolled and self-contained. So instead of a rough binding I'd have two elastic loops to contend with. No win.
Also, there is an LL Bean Logo stitched on one side, and it looks incredibly ugly from the reverse side, which you see if you fold down the top corner of the bag.
This would probably be great for kids but I'm likely going to return mine.
This bag is very nice quality...haven't used it yet but know it will come in handy for couch sitting and granddaughter visiting. I washed it on delicate setting and it came out beautifully. Love the straps and carrying handle.
