We share a getaway lodge with several families. There are beds aplenty with traditional bedding. When we go for a couple of nights, we like to avoid washing the bedding and having to remake the beds as we prepare to return home. The camp bags are just right for laying atop the bedspread and getting cozy. We leave the room as if no one was there and have saved ourselves the hassle of firing up the washing machines and/or having someone else do it for us. We are comfortable year round in these great blanket bags!
When I received this bag my first impression was it was lightweight and would not be warm enough, but such is not the case. It is very warm and toasty. I also had no problem washing it in a standard top loading machine. I just keep it zipped up and turned inside out so that the straps will not get caught in the agitator and wash it on delicate. It fits in the machine just fine and so far has not been damaged as the label warns. I love it and definitely recommend it.
Very soft and warm and the cornflower blue is a pretty color. Washes well in a top load machine even tho a front loader is recommended. Great for an extra bed cover or for travel when you don't want to sleep in iffy hotel sheets.
I have ordered many of these bags for my own family as well as for gifts. Wears extremely well with no pilling even after several years use and several dozen washings. Two of these zip together nicely to make a queen size bag.
