Beautifully constructed and a perfect yet roomy fit. Nice features and at last, a sturdy zipper. A bit heavier than I expected but I won't notice that when I am nice and warm this winter.
I'm 5'10 about 140 so I do have problems finding jackets that fit me in the body as well as the arms but this jacket is perfect! The medium is slightly wide in the body but if i got a small the arms would be too short. One thing I don't think the jacket information tells you is it has draw strings on the inside so you can make the waist tighter, Overall, great heavy wool jacket good for anything you can think of!
I am pleased with the versatility of this parka. It is lightweight and warm. The sizing is slim but adequate. I'm amazed at the thoughtful detail which can accommodate additions such as cuffs and gloves. I'm a bit confused with some of the pockets, like the one in the seat. Perhaps it's for cushioning or warming. The construction is extremely sturdy. I'm impressed. I won't have to worry about cold weather.
I have wanted this coat for a long time and it did not let me down! I spend a great deal of time in the outdoors and it is warm even in the cold Maine winter. I suspect this coat will last for another generation to use. Thanks LL BEAN!
