I recently received one of these knives a a birthday gift and thought I would add a review to refute a claim made in the previous review.
This knife is a "Woodsman" model Buck which is a FULL SIZED Finn style hunting knife that Buck has made for MANY years now.
It is a classic pattern and is NOT a ladies knife. It is simply a trim .moderately sized hunting knife and a GOOD one at that !
The size of knife folks carry in the field is a personal thing, but it is WRONG for anyone to claim this is a woman's sized knife. It is simply not so!

My husband bought this knife for himself but then promptly gave it to me. It is definitely made for a woman's hand. I have small hands, ring size 5 1/2, and it fits perfectly for me. I couldn't see my husband using this - although it seems very sturdy, sharp and well-made - it's rather petite. But it's a beautiful knife, the handle is smooth and the leather belt case is very nice. Yep it's got the big LL Bean Logo on the blade, wish it didn't but that doesn't bother me too much. All in all - Perfect for me! He ordered the Buck 110 Folding Knife as a replacement for himself and was very pleased with the size and weight of that knife and on the flip side it was too big and bulky (and a little scary) for me to handle comfortably. We are both happy now!
A nice twist on an old classic. anyone who has ever had a buck before knows the quality and finish is top shelf.It is the most all around knife i have,I would highly recommend it.
