This is a good sleeping bag - warm, soft, cozy & cleans well. An aside: My boys needed sleeping bags on short notice and I ordered two in Kid size; that was a bad move. The style is quite narrow (even in the adult size), so, while it was perfect for my 6 year old, it will not fit my 9 year old for long. While I know I should have looked more carefully at the product details, I think maybe it should be called Little Kid size instead of Kid size to help the hasty shoppers like myself avoid that mistake.
I purchased one for my 13 daughter for Christmas-- she loves it. She suggested getting a second one, and my son loves it. They are using them as comforters on their beds this winter. I have purchased these in the past, and although they were good, they are even better now. The outer shell is more rip resistant and less slippery than it used to be. You may be able to buy a bag cheaper other places, but these are well worth the money. I am thinking of buying an third to keep for when the kids' friends sleep over.
I bought one of these in red for my daughter to take with her to Smith College. It is a hit. It is super soft, and very warm. This is a well made sleeping bag- sturdy, colorfast and the zippers are strong.
My daughter lives in this bag (well, not literally). From the moment she got it, she has used it whenever she can. She even prefers this to her bed linens. I have one and my son has one, and we must admit, if we could spend the day camping out and the nights sleeping in our camp bags, life would be great! Get one!
