Got two of these for my daughters ages 7 and 9 (got the regular not the kids so that they will fit into teen yrs) for slumber parties, etc. They are soft, thick and cozy. My seven year old has taken to putting hers on top of her bed and night and sleeping in it! Very pleased with this product. Only thing I wish is that they had some more fun patterns and colors.
I love everything about this bag. The shell of the bag is not slippery but very soft, and the flannel is extremely comfortable. I purchased four of these bags for myself and family. Prior to purchase, upon comparison shopping, I found that there IS no comparison! I saw bags that were two to three times the price that weren't made as well, and I think the best part of LL Bean is their guarantee. That makes every purchase I make at LL Bean worry-free!
I bought two of these sleeping bags last Fall and have used them camping twice this Summer. The flannel lining is so comfortable that I found myself using them last winter around the house. We just washed them for the first time and they seem to have held up during the wash. It is a good bag for the casual family camping trip.
I bought two of these for my kids last year, and the LOVED them. The flannel is really comfortable and warm, and the outer nylon shell is tough and durable. Great for the cabin or the family camping trip, and VERY well made.
I'm not sure anyone else makes something comparable. I did quite a bit of shopping before buying, and there is little that caters to the comfortable, classic, sleeping bag. Of course, not for that Everest expedition, but those guys can only dream of such comfort.
