Ordered the XL Royal Blue for my 6 year old son. Other reviews said they've had Bean Bags for years & years so I figured I'd get the XL for him to grow into & use for many many years to come. He loves it even though he is swimming in it. It is soft & cozy. I love it too b/c it can double as a reversible, full-sized comforter on his bed. I actually plan on buying the XL for my 3 daughters for x-mas. I plan on using them as winter comforters on their twin beds & even though the bags have black straps, you don't even see them once they are tucked in between the footboard & mattress. You hardly even notice the zipper especially on a twin since the sides hang down low. Then if the girls need a sleeping bag for camping or a sleepover, VIOLA...just rip it off the bed, roll it up & go! I love the softer pastel plaids they offer in green & rose but wish they offered a soft blue too so each of my girls would have a different color. FYI - The bag measures 80"L x 35"W (72"W when unzipped).
This is the nicest quality campbag I've used. The flannel lining is soft and cozy. It's easy for a lady to roll up and still fit into the nice carrying bag and is lightweight. I'm quite certain it will wear well for many years to come. Once again, it's a great example of Bean's great quality at an affordable price.
I have now gotten 3 of these bags. The older grandkids use tem often camping the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Minnesota. Great for a long weekend on Lake Michigan at grandmas house
Bought this as a "travel bed" for my 2.5 year old daughter. She loved it- so soft & comfortable. The size of the stuff sack is nice too- enough room for her blanket & travel pillow, & works nicely as a carryon. I'm really impressed with the quality, and can see that we'll get many years of use out of it.
