The mesh lining just doesn't work for me - not a substitute for underwear - so I cut it out. Also the previous pair of similar styled pants had zippers on lower legs to make getting over boots and shoes easy - which is an issue if you are changing while on the trail - who wants to take off boots? Otherwise they are fine, and just what I needed for hiking in the woods with various weather and temperature changes.
These pants are perfect - the lining on the inside is very soft and functional. The belt is a quality belt and also very functional. Other pants of thsee types have had harsh linings and belts that just don't work. These pants are perfect for outdoor activities such as canoeing, kayaking, 3D shoots, hiking, etc. VERY PLEASED.
These are nice pants. I ordered one pair, then decided I needed another got a different color. pros..a lot of pockets, lighteight, easy to clean. cons...shorts are a bit on the short side for me but not by much
I bought these for my husband for a trip to Costa Rica. We needed something lightweight that dries quickly. These pants were great - and the fact that they could also zip off into shorts was an added bonus. He wears them constantly even if we're not in the rain forest!
