On my second one and not because the last one was old or damaged but because it was lost in a fire. It served me so well for over a year that I got another one even after looking at other models and brands. This vest secures and fits well for the fisherman who loves to hike and bushwhack - has every pocket, hook and accessory you need.
This vest is perfect. has more pockets than you could ever need. The expandable compartment on the back for a hydration pack was very convenient. Took this vest fly fishing in the mountains of NC and it held up perfectly!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a vest.
Lots of storage for all the necessities, all within easy reach. Spent 14 hours fly-fishing the "Holy Waters" of the Au Sable river in Michigan and was very glad I had it.
The only negative aspect was the front main zipper is poorer quality and "un-zips" from the bottom up (won't stay zipped).
Great vest for comfortably carrying all the gear you need for a day hike and fish. I can take all my normal vest needs - fly boxes, spare spool, tippets, etc. plus rain jacket, food, water, and emergency items. It is perfect for a hike to the "blue line" streams.
