Within one day of using the lantern, the remote was nonfunctional. This was the main reason for the purchase. The lantern itself is fine. But unfortunately, the remote was the selling point for me. Disappointing.
It was okay. You have to point the remote at the lantern controls to get it to turn on and off. Even then not consistant. For the price I would have thought there would be greater distance. We have 4man king pine dome and the remote at the front door of the screen room did not turn on the lantern on the hook in the bedroom area.
