I bought 6 as gifts, I had one extra so I tried to use it, the remote did not work, got a replacement and it worked for about 1 week, now it only works intermitently. Save your money, if you want the remote, as a lantern it was fine.

It's a nice little lantern. but I had to wait 4 months after ordering it before it was delivered.
