I bought two of these a few years ago and they are still going strong. I use them in tents for our Cub Scouts that are afraid of the dark. It gives off just enough light inside a tent but is not blinding. The best part is the remote control. I can take the remote and turn off the lights without even having to get out of my sleeping bag or tent. It has a hook (which is kinda flimsy) that will let it hang in your tent. Just don't let the kids swing them around by the hook and you are good to go. Overall, Love them!!!!!!
love the little hurricane saver for us down in Florida......my 7 year old got his lantern for camping trip......we have several ...only bad part ....when using remote it does not shut off all the way........Need to turn manually to off position ,,,so remote not so helpful....
This Lantern was purchased as a gift and the recipient is extremely happy with the lantern and especially the remote which makes using the lantern so convenient. The lantern can sit on a table or be hung up which adds to the versatility.
the lantern worked pretty good for me. i went to a summer camp 4 about 6 days, and i didnt really ned to replace the batteries all week. so battery life is pretty good. the only problem is that it doesnt cast light very far. i stayed in a tent that had a tipped roof like a simple house drawing so i hung the lantern on the middle pole on the ceiling, and it didnt cast light down into the room of the tent very well. but it was great for playing cards just placing it on the table. but it works better on top of something like knee hight or if ur focusing on sumthing on the table, then its better on the table. the hook fits most tent ploes, so it would be better in like a dome tent if u wanna hang it. but on the ground or on a table like surface, its pretty good like that. Overall, Its pretty good. the remote was good so wen i was in my sleeping bag all i had to do was pressx the button instead of trying to sit up and turn off the light under the tangly bug netting. SO YAH. THIS THING WORKS PRETTY GOOD, AND OVERALL I LIKE IT.
