Overall I rate this item highly and would recommend it as the others we've purchased have lasted YEARS. I think this one was just a one-off defect. The stitching on the leg cuff was defective and stitching unraveled after one day of use.
12/6/21 we worked cattle in nasty cold conditions yesterday. High was 7° with a wind chill of -10°. Union suit I purchased did exceptionally well. Keep me warm and cozy. Button holes are a bit loose. But I can live with that for the warmth I receive. Yes i would recommend LL Beans wool blend union suit.

Maybe LLBean has finally fixed the buttonhole problem that customers have been complaining about for years? This pair seems to stay closed. so far. this is only the first wearing... the baggy excess in the crotch area will still trouble some buyers so we needed to order down a size. we dont use a dryer though, so that might figure in though usually its the length that shrinks....
