I was worried about the dimensions initially. At 6'2", 170 lb., with a slim build, medium fit perfectly! As per other recommendations, you shouldn't buy this if you're under 5'9". I'm ready for the New York Winter. It even prompted me to buy one for my dad.
My husband refuses to wear any other long johns. He calls them his John Wayne's and loves the fact that his back is never exposed to the weather. He is an avid hunter and also wears them for work. He has both my boys convinced also so I buy 3 pairs a year! PS, I also wear them in womens!!!
I read the reviews from others and needed something a cut above my regular 2 piece pajamas. I bought these in large (44 chest, 36 waist). These fit ok in the upper body and a mite snug in the legs. The crotch hangs about 2 inches lower than me. As others reported, the button for the rear flap keeps coming loose. I will have that buttonhole reduced or get a bigger matching button. I tried these on when it was a comfy 76 degrees last night and I expected to be too warm but actually the union suit was quite comfortable. My wife thinks it has too many buttons on the front side. After wearing it for a while I can see why this item is so popular.
