I bought this item for my husband, who was tired of the 'draft' from 2 piece long underwear. He absolutely loves them! It was such a great Christmas present that I got the second pair for Valentine's Day. The only drawback is keeping them clean. He wears them even when doing machine maintenance.
I bought the first union suit for my husband as a Christmas gift. He works out of his truck and Michigan winters are pretty harsh. This was exactly what he was looking for to help keep him warm during the day. He has other pairs of base layers, but he just wasn't able to stay warm and was complaining his knees were freezing through the day. Originally I had teased him about needing a good old-fashioned union suit, but that is exactly what he wanted. He loves it!
The fit is perfect and holds true with washing and he says he stays nice and warm even with the arctic blasts we've been having.
Our son was so jealous that I ordered him one for Valentine's day and he's been religiously wearing his on cold days, too!
My husband is always icy cold, and naturally, I am always hot! His new red LLBean union suit has allowed me to drop the thermostat 8 degrees, whilst keeping him warm and toasty. He pairs his suit with the polarfleece slipper socks for total comfort around the house. The only caveat that I have regarding these suits is that they are very generous in both girth and length.
