Got this, opened the bag and the bum flap button fell out. It wasn't a construction problem, it was literally ripped out of the material. But I live in S Korea so I'm not going to send it back. (Got my sewing kit out ;) While I'm sure this is a "one-off", still it does reflect on LL Bean's quality control. Definitely more itchy than soft. Ordered it in winter so my skin may have been a little dry but would love for it to have been soft and cozy. It did get a little softer after a couple of washings and wearings. I am 6'1", ordered and large and it fit perfectly. Usually I order an XL in everything. Still, I ride a motorcycle in the winter and it is a great layer to minimize wind chill.
I wear a medium tee shirt and ordered the medium Union Suit. The arms, shoulders and legs fit perfect but there was at least 8 plus inches of loose, baggy material at the waist/crotch areas. I returned it for credit. I am 5'-6" and this suit would fit someone who is a medium and at least 6' tall. Well made, just too loose.
