Two layers make these long johns incredibly warm. My boyfiend has a pair of them that he has had for 10 years and he recommended I buy them for my son in law. They went over really well on Christmas morning! He wears a 2x and I bought a xxl but they only came in tall (They were HUGE) I sent them back and bought the xl and they fit perfectly.
If you are looking to lounge around and stay warm, these are perfect. If I was to be absolutely nitpicky, the bottom button might be a bit too low and the back flap could be a little more secure, but over all I am quite pleased with this purchase.
I work in a cold aircraft hanger. These have keep me very warm. They are comfortable to wear. My wife says they are ugly, but they do the job they were intended to - to keep me warm in the winter!
I bought two pair and have washed/worn/washed each once - so far, so good. The union suits seem very well made and are far superior to other (all cotton) union suits I've owned. Remains to be seen how they will wear over time, but the cuffs and buttons and seems seem very well constructed, and I anticipate that these will last a long time. And they are super-warm!
