I wear these as pajamas, and I wash them in cold water on “wool” cycle with Woolite. The red ones are great. The grey ones have a rear flap button hole that is much too large, they will not stay buttoned. (This was brought to my attention by my 8 y/o daughter, who found the resulting exposure hilarious.) One grey set is falling apart at the seams and I need to return it after a few months of gentle use (I wear them while sleeping.) Buy the red, pass on the charcoal.
I've had in mind to buy a union suit for a while. Seperate top and bottom long johns never worked well. My first use was shoveling snow after a recent storm - and combined with my LL B coat - I could have been outside all day.
This is the best union suit I have ever found. One pair is over ten years old, not as warm as the new pair but still pretty good, never lost a button or worn a hole. THE BEST,
