This union suit is much better quality than other brands that I have encountered. However, there is room for improvement. The buttons unbutton very easily while you are wearing it. The perfect union suit would be a zipper one with as extra seperate opening for the fly. The back hatch is very important. Never buy a union suite without one. The suit keeps you nice and warm both in my cold office and outside. I even wear it under business attire. I use it every day after I swim at the gym, so that I don't catch a cold. Buy a size down, as it runs large. The grey is better because it is less noticeable when wearing under a button down and draws less attention in the gym locker room. I typically put it on as I get out of the showers. Also, a tip is that you need to fold the sleeves over so that they don't show when you wear a shirt over it. I am addicted to union suits and full body underwear and pajamas. When it comes to union suits, price truly dictates quality. Example: If you bought a cheaper union suite, it would most definitely ride up on you, whereas this one does not and is comfortable.
I have had L.L. Bean's red union suits before and I am happy to report that the quality is still as good as it ever was. You can wear these union suits like a second skin all winter every winter for many years, and if you take good care of it, for decades. I live in an area with very cold windy winters and this becomes my second skin throughout those frigid months. I intend to wear it in the house, too, as energy costs drive us to keep the interior much cooler than we ever have done before. I consider this union suit to be a more sensible investment than most other purchases you could make this autumn.
These union suits are hard to find and L.L. Bean gets them in every year! My husband has several in each color. They last and last, and keep him warm all winter. I literally have to peel them off of him to get him to take them off because they are so comfortable. They run a little big which makes them perfect for throwing in the dryer with everything else instead of having to wash/dry them seperately.
I bought these for my husband who uses it for when he snowplows and also when he goes to football games. He says they are very warm and comfortable. He normally takes XL, which seemed to run very large, it was swimming on him. I exchanged for a L and it fit perfect.
