I do love the cozy warmth of the suit but the sizing was tricky as I compared women's small and medium even against a child's XL. Oddly, what is bigger 'here' is shorter 'there'. The suits shrink a bit and it counts. Also, the logistics are funky if you're an avid water drinker.
I bought the pink first, and then checked out the button hole issue, and it is fixed, so I bought the red union suit. The red also has button holes that are fixed now. The buttons do not come open. I have worn each suit for one week now, and the issue is completely fixed. I saw a couple of reviews about the button holes and wanted to update everybody. I usually never write a review, but this touched me to speak out to the issue, because it is fixed !
I waited for years before investing in these. I wish I hadn't because I could have been all nestled in red longjohn warmth earlier than now. But I finally made the purchase, and they are great! I sleep in them and layer them when it is super cold. They are a welcome addition to my cold weather gear!
This is fabulous; I bought the heather pink and it is a pretty color. Not that color matters; it's underwear after all. But I bought this to use as international travel jammies. I leave tomorrow for cold Brussels and will be glad to snoodle up in bed in this. Even nice hotels aren't warm enough in Europe. The thing that caught me by surprise is the functional split hiney with a button closure. I have had union suits before - and these split bums really don't work for potty breaks for women. I will probably sew it shut when I get home and restyle it in the back - and cut out the extra fabric (I can sew so this will be easy to do; it would be okay if I couldn't but I can, so I will!). The fit is great, the fabric is two layers and soft next to my skin, the best part? Ankle and wrist cuffs so they won't ride up when sleeping! All real jammies should have these. I am so glad Bean is offering these. Oh, one more thing - they aren't really super bulky so they fit in my carry on without taking up too much space. I guess the best part is if it is really, really cold outside I could also wear them as real long underwear during the day, which is their original purpose. I have lighter weight LJs for that, though.
