This product would be five-stars perfect if it weren't for such an itchy material. Rather than wool, would love if LLBean offered in either all cotton or cotton/silk blend.
I purchased a Small which fits right (size 6) however the material is just too rough.
I just received this item in the mail and I love it. I bought it with the intention of wearing it as pajamas in the house and for cold weather camping trips. The fabric is thin, it is not a waffle knit, but is well made and very warm without the bulk of waffling. I bought the pink and I think it's cute. It is a union suit, however, and does not contribute to a modern silhouette. I couldn't imagine wearing this under any sort of normal clothing, but I do think it would be a comfortable layer to wear under bib overalls (snow pants) on the ice for ice fishing season or for snowmobiling. The fit could be improved. When I ordered, I thought the picture gave the impression of a short torso; and indeed it is. I was almost tempted to exchange it for a men's, but decided that I really like the pink. The sleeves are longer than they need to be, but the wrist cuffs do a fair job of holding them up. The leg length is fine. Overall, a great product- but if you are long torsoed and large busted, consider your sizing options as the torso is short.
This union suit is wonderfully soft, warm, and fits great as a pj. The ribbed wrists and ankles prevent the fabric from bunching up during the night and allowing cold spots. Yes, the button holes are a tiny bit big, but not so much so that the buttons pop open... It just makes unbuttoning easier. I love my red union suit and will buy another, just wish it came in a color other than pink. I bought my husband one for Christmas.
