I just received this zero degree bag . I'm using it when I travel and camp off my motorbike . The last 2 nights have been in the low 30's or upper 20's where I live in Bend Or. I decided to try it outside my home for the night - perfect - I slept warm and comfortable . The real plus is that in a compression bag , this bag packs down to 11" X 8" The only negative is the zipper. It can snag in a heartbeat and now that I've learned how to free it , it's just a small annoyance
This bag is very comfortable. When they say it is a 0-degree bag, they mean it! If it's not freezing or below, it's too hot! Great for winter campers, otherwise, I'd recommend the 30-degree bag.
Although it's not a mummy bag, it keeps you warm with the added bonus of being able to move your legs around independently. Very glad I have it.
My husband froze at a recent camp out in his 30 yr. old down sleeping bag and swore he would not go on another one until he had the right sleeping bag, (my son has one also and is sometimes to hot in it) he used it in Maine mother's day weekend and did not freeze, very happy with the purchase. Easy to roll up in larger storage bag and very comfortable.
Bag is nicely made. We had the opportunity to test the temp rating and I don't agree that it is 0 degree warmth we were noticing the cold at about 30 degrees. The zippers are a little tricky but if you slide them with a finger on either side they don't catch. The muffler over the zipper is a nice feature that blocks draft at the seam. Two bags zip together for a double. Overall we are happy with the purchase for most of our excursions.
