Great Bag
PostedOctober 31, 2008
I've used this bag in temperatures ranging between 35 - 70 degrees F.
I've been impressed with how warm I stayed in colder temps when fully zipped. In warmer fall weather, I've stayed comfortable with the zipper half unzipped.

Great Bag
PostedOctober 28, 2008
My girlfriend and I purchased this bag. The quality is LL Bean through and through! It's roomy, lightweight and comes with one large long term storage sack and a small one for hiking. The bag is very lofty; more so than the Exped Hummingbird I traded off. Plus, the price is great for a down bag.

Goose Down Bags
PostedSeptember 28, 2008
I've had an earlier model of this bag for 9 years. It's perfect. Just the right amount of space, good warmth to weight ratio. I chose the 0 degree model so I'd be warm in all conditions. I like to sleep out in the desert in the Fall with just a ground cloth. Many times, I've woken up to find thick frost on the bag (that in itself is a good indication of how insulated it is) and I haven't needed to zip the bag up past my waist. I've never been cold on mountain backpacking trips to 12,000 feet, either. These bags are true to their temperature ratings, unlike other brands which stretch it a bit. You can't go wrong with this bag.

The Perfect Compromise
PostedJune 26, 2008
This bag is awesome! It is small and light and yet there is room to sleep without feeling confined to a mummy bag. The color is red red, not magenta like it looks on my monitor. Also it is 6" by 13" packed, and gets smaller when you use a compression sack. This is the only bag i could find like it, I love it.
