I am thrilled with this cart. I have another cart that isn't very convenient to use, so I was looking for one that would be easier for me to handle. The Stowaway Kayak and Canoe Cart is just what I was looking for. It is very easy to get the kayak onto the cart - you just put the front end of the kayak onto it. The straps are attached, so it is simple to just pull them into place. I have to drag my kayak over some bumpy ground and down a bit of a hill to get it into the lake, and it is really easy with this cart. It is also easy to take the kayak off the cart, fold up the cart and slip it into the kayak. Couldn't be easier - anyone can handle their kayak transport with this great design!
We have had at least two other types of kayak carts that were too time consuming to use, needed at least two people to get the kayak on the cart and secured or the inflatable wheels were nearly impossible to fill. Returned these systems and gave up trying to find a cart that was easy to use, held the kayak secure, fit in the kayak easily, and was reasonably priced. Then we saw this cart and decided because of the LLBean reputation for excellence to try one more time. Bought two carts and couldn't be happier as now attaching the carts is takes about a minute and is 100% effective. We walk about a 1/3 of a mile to get to the water and the system is so easy and cooperative that walking our dog to the water is harder. Thank You LLBean.
