compact and efficient
PostedApril 11, 2009
This cart is a great buy. Sturdy and very easy to attach. Wheels travel well over moderate terrain. I use this cart to walk my seakayak several blocks to a lake.. or from cartop to water's edge. As this is a stern cart, you must bear more weight than with a center carry design. However, this is the only cart I have found that will fit into small round hatches. Easily disassembled for storage in hatch. More affordable and better built then some of the other stern carts I have seen. I would recommend this product.

KAYAK CART
PostedMarch 23, 2009
I LOVE IT, JUST LOVE IT. BEING A SINGLE OLDER WOMAN, IT WILL MAKE KAYAKING SO MUCH EASIER ON MY BACK. THE WHEELS ARE VERY STURDY AND IT IS EASY TO ATTACH - FITS WELL ON MY WIDE KAYAK. NO MORE STRAINING TO LUG IT TO THE WATERWAY. WHEELING IS VERY EASY. I WILL USE EVERY TIME I GO OUT NOW.

Kayak cart
PostedMarch 18, 2009
Most impressive. I live on a river with a 95 degree banking & 52 stair access down to the water.
Kayak weighs 45 lbs & I am 82 years old.
Brought kayak down easily (albeit slowly) with the cart.
Dynamite!!

Kayak Cart Issues
PostedMarch 17, 2009
Took over two weeks for Fedex delivery--not sure why( March 4th to March 17). The delivery notice from Bean said that it would take from 2 to 7 business days to deliver.
I have a wide "sit on top" kayak and the cart will barely fit the front of the Kayak. Walked it around the yard and it "seems" to hold tight/work. I plan to try it out on some flat terrain next week. The walk to the water is about 300 yards. At any rate it will be better than hauling it on my shoulders or putting it on top of the truck for such a short distance. Construction seems solid--should work especially well for a narrower kayak/canoe. Compact design should facilitate storage.
