I am just a rookie in canoeing: I live on a lake shore I use my canoe directly from my backyard to the lake. I use this cart to help me carry my canoe to the lake (a few hundred feet), it is perfect ! easy to use, light, reliable and install took me less than 2 minutes. If you are not a pro, if you are looking for something simple and have a simple utilization, go with this light weight, easy and inexpensive cart!
Handy to haul canoe from storage to car and from car to lake-we tried it successfully. On our Pungo kayaks I found a way to connect on stern which is heavier end so to pull from bow. It fits into storage on Pongo. So bought one for my son's "B-Day" for his canoe. Thanks, Pete
This cart is Awsome!! I wish I had bought it sooner. Super easy to use and stow away. As a result I get out in my kayak more. Havent used it with my canoe yet but dont forsee any problems:)
Took a chance on this at a very low price, compared to others Ive seen. Moved our 40 lb. kayaks around in the yard several times, and actually took it with for a paddle just this AM. It works great. We had about 1000 ft. from parking lot to put-in, on concrete path. It loads easy, rolls easy, and folds pretty small. With relatively small 7" wheels it might be a problem on less even terrain. We'll see.
