The concept is good, but this product is much too light to move my 90-pound canoe across rough ground. The hard rubber tires are too small and incapable of absorbing bumps on uneven terrain. I had to replace them with much larger inflatable tires, which required building a larger axle and enlarging the axle holes in the frame. It took some serious modifications to turn this product into something that I could use.
this is my second purchase of an llbean kayak cart...great price and a very effective transport method for moving your kayak to the water...we have a very light swift kayak and a heavy plastic beast that we let anyone use...a loon...so a wheelie cart is a must to make it a one person event!!...the cart is light, folds up easily, and rolls over anything reasonable..go for it...we wheel our kayaks down the lane, over grass, onto sand and rocks and into the water of lake george.
