Wow. This takes bout 30 sec to put on, very secure & low center of gravity means it doesn't want to tip over when portaging rough terrain. Then pop a wheel off & it goes along for the ride in the aft compartment. In back-country, I don't know how I managed w/o this... well, I do; it was gut-busting but not anymore. Carts double the price don't do the job so well. I love this thing!
This cart certainly makes it easy to get my kayak to a pond about 1 1/2 blocks from my home! It's easy to handle and rolls easily thru a few rocky/sandy spots. We received it as a gift; it truly makes the journey to the pond an easy one for my young son and me. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this product.
This cart came exactly as advertised. I have a 17.5 ft sea kayak and this cart handles it just fine. Easy to attach and it slides right into my large storage hatch with the wheels on! Great price, great construction. And I know Vermont isn't far away from Maine, but free shipping and it arrived the next day! Wow!
As a new kayaker, I picked up this cart when buying my yak because of the discount. Wasn't sure I'd need it (big guy at 6'1" & 260lbs). So glad I did. It comes fully assembled and attaches intutively. Though I've only been out a few times, don't know what I would have done without it. Folds up and stows right behind my seat, so I don't even need to go back to the car to store it.
