We bought the Kayak canoe cart to move our kayaks from the car to the water and back without having to carry them.They are wonderful, work great, simple to use, and make it so much more enjoyable to move our kayaks from place to place.On our first use of them another lady asked where we got them at and we told her Go to LL Bean! in Marlton ,NJ. She was headed there when she left.The price is great and they are definitely worth it.
Wish I had studied these carts a bit closer. This cart does not fit my kayak very well. Appears to be a better fit for a canoe. The cart has to sit almost at the end which makes you feel hat you are carrying almost all the weight. Also the wheels are too small to be of much use on sand. A cart that can be positioned somewhere closer to the middle and had larger wheels would have been much better. All that said, the quality is good as is almost everything LLbean carries.
I use this on my Folbot Greenland II, a big boat when it's assembled and I can wheel it around all I like with this little cart. Very handy and now the wife doesn't have to carry the kayak to the water with me, which is much better for our relationship :-0
