Well constructed with 3 pair of elastic bands inside for holding rods. I would recommend tubes for additional protection.

Great bag

Well designed and manufactured bag. I put 3 4-piece Sage rods inside and a telescoping wading stick and it all fit easily. It also meets the 45” carry-on luggage dimensions for airline travel.Pa

I have my Grandfather's LL Bean canvas and leather duffle from the 1930's and still use it. I can tell by the quality that this new rod bag will be used by my grandchildren too. It safely holds my 3 piece fly rod in tube, reels, and fly boxes. My next rod will be a 4 piece so I can keep it in this bag too. Great item even if it was twice the price.
