Excellent product, easily holds 3 tubed rods, probably more if you remove spare rods from their respective tubes and pack in cloth sleeves. Pockets easily accommodate reels, 2 of which are large saltwater reels. Very nice, classic "yesteryear" look that is as practical as it is handsome
I purchased this rod case to use as a carry on for an upcoming trip. The published dimensions barely meet Delta's total LWH limits so I assume it will work. I currently have two rods - a 9 ft Sage and a 8.5 ft Double L Bean. The Sage tube measures 31 5/8 in. and can fit the bottom 2 rod positions but not the top. I would say this is the max length tube that will fit into this case and limited to the bottom two positions. The LL Bean tube is 29 3/4 in. And can fit any of the 3 positions. The overall quality of the case is excellent. Good heavy duty zippers and nice leather trim. Very classy look with the canvas and leather. Well padded also.
