I bought this to pack two fly rods, two fly reels with one spare spool, one bait casting rod and one low profile bait casting reel. It’s snug but all fits. Quality is very good and it looks great. The tubes will obviously protect the rods but the padded case will offer another layer of protection. Other reviews said it was allowed as a carry on. If it is, this will do everything I was looking for. Will be used to visit my son in NC and fish for whatever is in the salt. Most likely reds and sea trout. Will also be used for bone fishing trips to Bahamas.
I was skeptical when I saw the price. When the bag arrived it was obviously extremely high quality. Took a rod and reel on my trip and used it as a carry on. The strap was awesome for hands free carrying around the airport and the zipper pockets were great to hold my phone, gum, etc.
