I love the old school waxed cotton that L.L. Bean offers. I had a reel case that I was impressed with, so I kept my eye on this. It absolutely makes loading up the Jeep easier if I can grab three rods and my tenkara and another duffle with one hand. It looks great in the living room when I'm laying out gear for the early morning departures, as well. It seems like outstanding quality luggage, especially at this price point.

Great peice of gear
The rod case was everything I thought it was going to be and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of outdoor gear!
It easily accommodates three 30 inch Rod tubes and the storage pockets are perfect for leaders and other small gear.
I purchased this specifically for a fishing trip to Alaska.It was a tight fit for 3-30 inch rod tubes but I put the tubes in a couple of weeks prior and it did stretch enough to allow the zippers to run easier around the corners. Used as a carry-on for flights and it worked well. Also enabled me to carry all three rods in boat or float plane to fishing destinations since the 3 reels fit in the side pockets. The only negative is the flap covering the zippered side pockets is held in place by a magnet. Strap is for looks only. Huh? The bottom line is it worked out extremely well.
