When you receive this product, it has a paper insert that states that this item is NOT waterproof and should not be immersed in water. I use it with a zip loc bag inside. It is very supple.
This is lightweight and perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. I have the 4-liter and am able to comfortably hold my sunscreen, chapstick, phone, keys, and even a snack. I recommend having a carabiner or clip so you can attach the bag to your board/kayak and open it freely without worrying about it falling in the water.
I use these mostly as waterproof bags for when I go swimming. I needed a reusable bag to throw a towel, swimsuit, and dirty clothes in, and thought if they block water from the outside, it's probably gonna keep water on the inside from getting out. After I saw another reviewer say that they use it this way, I got a medium and a large.
The medium is great for dirty gym clothes and a small towel, and the large fits a large towel and swimsuit. The roll top and clip is really nice since it helps keep moisture in and allows me to clip the bag to anything, like my gym bag. It doesn't make my gym bag smell weird like plastic bags do if you forget to unpack right away. I usually turn them inside out and hang them to dry for the next use. They also look better than reusable diaper bags, which were another option I was considering, plus I can use these to keep things inside dry if I ever need to. Happy with this purchase!
