As for waterproof, these are great. My comment has to do with realistic packed size. A 4 liter sack may carry 4 liters of water, but in terms of dimensions of clothing: I stuffed it very densely full, rolled the top down twice, pushed out the air. Size is 9x4x4, about the size of the thick part of a 2 liter soda bottle, or a rolled up pair of jeans. Likewise, a 13 liter sack really is 15 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 5 inches. Size given on site is the flattened, unpacked, unrolled size. I hope this helps someone.
After reading other reviews, I thought this might be the perfect item for our beach vacation in Cancun.
Having used tote bags and ziplock bags on previous trips, I had my fill of them. Sand, ripping...you know the problems. Anyways, I was looking for something with very sturdy construction, sealable to prevent moisture/debris entry and functional.
Well, this was the ticket!
My wife, the fashionista, thought these were the bomb. I purchased the 2 liter and 4 liter bags in the blue color. No sand, no dampness, easy to secure/close/carry.
The 2 liter bag was perfect for my iPhone and Kindle, plus room key and other little stuff. She used the bigger 4 liter bag for her "stuff", plus the color matched her swimsuit! They are easily seen with the vibrant turquoise color.
I would absolutely give these a 5 star review based on my light usage. They were perfect.
This holds water in just as well as it is advertised to keep water out. It worked great to haul water. I was able to use it to fill at the spring, river, waterfall, and put it in a ruck sack to haul water without using buckets that would slop around and dig into fingers during carrying. Great alternative to a bucket for short hauls.
