This is the best coat I have ever owned! The material is tough and burr proof. It slides through briars and plumb thickets with no problem, allows complete flexability and is quiet in the field. It sheds rain like a duck, completly blocks out the wind and is as tough as granite! To top all of that it looks nice as well. If it had snap in hood it would be absolutly perfect!
Good value. Has all the elements: license loop and game bag in the back; handwarmer pockets and deep pockets with shell loops in the front. Goretex material not noisy in the field; burrs and rain slide off. I bought the one w/o the blaze and use it for an weekend coat in the fall.
If you're Very fortunate, you'll soon be wearing this coat. It's got everything you need, plus every thing you want. The color is perfect and doesn't show every bit of dirt. The shoulder area is orange and provides you with a fine margin of safety. The Goretex sheds rain, yet it "breathes" to keep you dry when you're working hard. Overall it's a quality item, the fit is just perfect and you get a good value for your investment. One problem: it's so good, I'll never loan it to ANYBODY!!
