Get conceptual pants. Purchased at the Hunting/Fishing store in Freeport. Upon returning to VT, I realized the velcro pocket on the butt was made with two male velcro strips...making it not close....too bad.. They should have made it to the outlet store. Poor product quality control....
I purchased the upland pants a few years ago when LLBean first introduced them. During my 40 years of Ruffed Grouse/Woodcock hunting I have never owned a better more durable pant. The material used does not come apart near the cuff, a classic weak point of most pants in the field. They are also light in weight, not overly warm and the cut of the knees allow for easy walking and climbing over brush and fallen trees. I am going to get a second set before this falls bird season opener.
