It's nice to see a product that has been well thought out and very functional for the intended use. You're setting a new standard for this type of clothing. All to often other manufacturers keep doing the same thing year after year even though there are new fabrics and new methods of putting something together that would make a better product. I found this product to be well made and comfortable and did what it was suposed to do. It passed the tests with flying colors and I'm impressed with the quality and durability.
The Technical Upland Pants have been an excellent purchase for me. After stomping through the briars and thick undergrownth in north Mississippi while quail and rabbit hunting they have more than surpassed their purpose. Great protection at a reasonalbe price.
Have been pheasant hunting since 1960 and quail hunting since 1990. These are as comfortable as any upland pants that I have ever used. Not as warm as gortex, but still somewhat water resistant. I agree that the shell pocket is superfluous, but overall this is still a five star product. Highly recommended.
Ditto some of the other reviewers - please ditch the shell pockets and raise the facing. If you want to broaden the market, put some of the facing on the backside. They'd be great for climbing and mountain hunting. I took them to Alaska in Sept and they were great.
