I originally wanted this bag with a flannel liner, but the wildlife print was only available with the cotton liner. It was for my 2 year old son, so the wildlife print is a fun design. Our camper gets pretty warm, so this sleeping bag turned out to be better than I expected. The whole family now owns LLBean sleeping bags and I LOVE everyone of them. Excellent quality and not bad pricing!!
We have bought each of our youngest grandchildren one of these bags. The boys love them and use them for visits to Grandma's and Grandpa's house, and also for camping. They are comfortable and durable and warm and big enough to serve them for quite a few years. Great bags at a very reasonable price.
My twin grandchildren (2!/2) will take them caming in the summer, but have already used them at home and on weekend trips and love them. Their names on them made it even more special, and bedtime seemed easier!
I have not given this sleeping bag to my grandson yet as his birthday is in June. After examining the bag, I am very pleased with the quality of the sleeping bag. It is light in weight so a toddler can carry his own bag and it appears the poly cotton will be plenty warm and comfortable for his overnights at grandma's. I bought him the wildlife print bag and had it monogrammed with his name. My only complaint is that the black monogramming does not show up very well on the dark royal blue bag. Perhaps matching a brighter color from the safari print would have been better. I think the sleeping bag will be a big hit with my grandson when he gets it on his second birthday.
