We bought this sleeping bag in the cranberry for our neighbor's 4th birthday. Per her Mom, she's so thrilled with it she uses it every night. It was part of a "camper" themed birthday idea and along with your little lantern with the remote, just made the day!!!
I purchased the kid sized bag for my 3 year old to use on trips to Grandma and Grampa's house. He really likes having his own sleeping bag and I like the color and quality of the bag. The fabric is soft and since its a cotton blend it's not as hot and sweaty as the all synthetic ones are. I got the monogram but was disappointed that the name is on the storage bag and NOT on the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag has L.L.Bean embroidered on it. I'd prefer if they would put the monogram both on the storage bag AND the sleeping bag.
This bag is fine. It just arrived, but we were disappointed because we assumed wrongly that the monogramming would be on the bag itself. It's on the carrying sack only. We got it for our 4 yr old primarily for use at preschool for naptime, and thought the monogramming would be great because wouldn't get confused with another kids' bags and we wouldn't want to have to use a magic marker to put his name on it. So we opted to wait a month for the nice mongrammed sleeping bag rather than just go out and get one. Shame on us for not reading the fine print.
Also, we (mistakenly) got the Navy color and since the monogramming is in black only, it's virtually invisible on the navy blue carrying sack. Of course, the LL BEAN monogram is bright white on the outside of the sleeping bag right where we had envisioned our son's name would be. Oh well.
