Bought two of these for my little ones who were starting to have sleepovers. Good quality, but the fabric picks up lint like crazy and of course really shows up on the darker colors like the Navy I bought for our son. Cranberry for my daughter was not as noticeable. Otherwise it seems like a good buy. Just wash after each use or pick one of the lighter colors!
I bought a regular-sized camp bag with wildlife print. Not that we don't have a good selection of camp bags in Canada, but this camp bag is by far superior in quality, functionality and price. I am planning on ordering a warmer version with flannel lining and matching pillow. Some reviewers mentioned that the sack is too small, but it is on the contrary quite roomy. The bag can be easily folded, rolled up and stuffed into the matching sack. I bought the camp bag for a stay in the cottage, but we are already using it at home.
These sleeping bags are great and well worth it. My kids have used theirs for sleepovers/camping and they are easily thrown in the wash and still in great shape. My kids especially like zipping two bags together to make a double sleeper. The sleeping bag easily folds into the carry all bag that comes with it. All 4 of my kids have these sleeeping bags.
Our kids are 11 and 12, and they love their sleeping bags. Plenty of room for preteen/teens. Terrific quality -- weight is nice for northern indoor homes or northern summer camping nights. Get the bag monogrammed -- it's roomy enough for packing overnight gear and the name is helpful for sleepovers (plus, it's a hit with the kids).
