Windstopper face mask
PostedJanuary 30, 2013
This is an awesome tool for keeping face warm in cold weather. I walk in 15 - 30 degree weather to get to work and this face mask made the difference in my comfort level--I could actually breathe instead of gasp cold air! Thank you LL Bean!

Windstopper face mask

Actually I am about to return this item. The nose part comes up too high on my face and gets in the way of my glasses. I wanted it to keep my face warm while walking my dog.

Pretty Good
PostedJanuary 26, 2011
ProsPerforming as Expected
Pros:
1. Easy to breath through - minimal icing.
2. Doesn't fog goggles
3. Warm and wind proof
Cons:
1. A little small - 17" neck with XL and the Velcro barely overlaps in the back. Turn your head, and sometimes it comes loose. I lost my first OR face mask that way, this was a replacement.
2. Sometimes a little hard to put on a ski helmet without pushing the face mask down.

Somewhat Useful but Less than Expected
PostedJanuary 26, 2011
I was looking for a mask that would not fog my glasses but would protect my lungs and face from frigid winter air. If I breathe through my nose, it does keep my glasses clear but mouth breathing produces a lot of fogging. Also, it cuts the chill of the air coming into my lungs but poorly protects my nose and upper cheeks from risk of frostbite or windburn. It also tend to slip downward; the velcro closure at the back doesn't keep the front of the mask in position.
