I bought this to replace a larger Swiss Army knife that I lost. This was a bit smaller than I wanted/expected, but I'm still extremely satisfied. This is made by Victorinox, as Swiss Army's are, and is very high quality as expected. What I didn't expect was that the end of the nail file is a flat-head screwdriver. A screwdriver was one of the things I was going to miss in a smaller knife, but they snuck one in there. Also, because it's so small, it will fit anywhere comfortably, even one one those teeny wristlets, and the scissors are always they best part.
It's PINK, how cool is that? I use this cute little knife just about every day at work to open boxes. It's perfect for this since it's small enough to be on my keychain, so it's handy. I had a red one that I used to years, nothing really wrong with it, but pink was too cool to pass up. I gave my old one to a coworker. I expect many years with this knife, too.
I'd been meaning to buy a Swiss Army Knife for years but never got around to it. Finally one day when I had to use my teeth to open a packet of dried fruit that came with my restaurant oatmeal, I decided "Today is the day!" I've had the knife for about a month and already wonder how I lived without it. The small size fits perfectly in my purse yet has all the tools I need. My dentist will be pleased that I no longer put my teeth at risk ;-). The quality of the knife is superb (no surprise there). Definitely one of the best purchases I've made from LL Bean, and I've made a lot!
I like having this little pocketknife on me and because it is small and lightweight, I don't even notice it in my pocket. You never know when you'll need to open a package, cut a coupon or pry off the cover to the cells on a tractor battery. That's what I have used this pocketknife for so far and with Christmas coming up, I won't have any trouble opening gifts. Glad I bought one.
