Held up great in the snow!

"The Vector XL 4 Dome Tent is wonderful.

After camping in the rain for 3 days and getting soaked I decided to take the smart approach and get a more serious tent.

Seven days of rain, 2 nights with rain and 40 MPH winds, and we woke up to 3 inches of very wet snow outside and not a leak!

It took my son and I 15 minutes to set it up the first time and the second time, we did it under ten. The tent is spacious for two and comfortable for three. The two vestibules were a big help. I did not have a tarp under the tent and did not seal any seams.

I highly recommend this tent. I hope to get years of use out of it.

Awesome tent, November 2, 2009
By 1Way from Portland, ME

"I used this tent last summer (09) and it was great. I never treated it before use and in June we got 27 days of rain which for 2 weeks of it this tent was in. It stayed dry except for the condensation on the bottom due to positioning the tent wrong. I put it on a completely flat spot where a puddle built up under the tent.

This tent is not backpackable unless your not carrying much. It is roughly 14lbs.

I am 6'3, 250 and I fit comfortably with my wife, 2 year old son and a Bullmastiff.

I recommend buying the bottom piece to protect the tent from rocks or roots that may appear or buy a tarp.
